The existing crisis will inevitably continue to be addressed by governments and central banks intent on restoring an inflationary environment via the printing of substantial additional, un-backed currencies.

VIP primarily invests in ETFs linked to precious metals, energy, and agriculture. Not only do we manage the allocation among these asset classes and cash, we also actively hedge the positions within each sector to mitigate overall risk. The size and timing of the hedges is based on our proprietary risk timing models. Although no model can call specific tops and bottoms, we believe we can add alpha through risk management of the positions.
